Durham Democratic Women Joins County-2-County Campaign
Durham Democratic Women (DDW) is partnering withOrange County Democratic Party (OCDP) on theCounty-2-County (C2C) Project in North Carolina!
What is C2C? C2C is working together with other County Democratic Parties in 14 relatively nearby counties that are interested in organizing to flip NC General Assembly seats. Teams from C2C have been formed and have established partnerships with these identified potentially flippable counties. The purpose is to help provide training, guidance and volunteer support to Democratic Party efforts within these 14 counties in order to ultimately increase Democratic voting.
This collaboration will give YOU a way to channel your expertise, your time, and your energy towards strategic efforts outside of Durham/Orange County with the goal of:
Flipping 3 more House Seats in 2018 to break the Supermajority and sustain the Governor’s veto
Winning back the House or the Senate by 2020 to have leverage in redistricting!
C2C assistance provided to these Counties, includes:
Phone banking to recruit volunteers
Training for counties and their precincts in topics such as: voter protection and rights, voter registration, canvassing and phone banking, precinct organizing, poll greeters, volunteer recruitment, working with local Board of Election
Background research in a county to improve focus and success for Democrats
Support during Counties' Day of Action activities (phone banking, canvassing, and voter registration.)
